Initially abandoned, contaminated land, Nottingham Science Park is the destination of choice for the city’s high tech, R&D and enviro-tech businesses.

Unused for over 50 years, the site is located immediately adjacent to the University of Nottingham, two miles west of Nottingham City Centre, but directly connected to it by the Nottingham tram system. Realising the potential in its connectivity, igloo delivered a successful large-scale regeneration project, with a vision that extended far beyond developing a traditional business park. The result? An imaginative alternative that’s dedicated to people and nature.

This project has transformed a previously contaminated site into an exciting, cutting-edge development that’s now home to Toyota’s Training Centre, with an additional 52,000 sq ft of business space that reflects the park’s ethos of innovation, creativity and environmental sustainability, fitted with effective low-tech sustainable solutions.
