Ironworks

Leeds

Ironworks, Leeds is a mixed-use development that perfectly captures the spirit and cultural heritage of the area in which it resides.

The 15 townhouses, and 58 one, two and three-bed apartments offer a unique, modern design that perfectly fits the industrious character of the neighbourhood, each with their own outdoor space to promote happy, healthy living. In addition, 1,400 sq ft of retail space was also provided, offering an unmissable opportunity to join the 150 businesses already open in the city's creative, independent neighbourhood, Holbeck Urban Village.

Capturing character

Referencing historic structures, the apartment block is inspired by a mill building, with lift shafts and ventilation designed to look like the building’s iconic chimneys.

Building for the planet

20% of energy use is provided by renewable sources, while large triple-glazed windows, high levels of insulation and photovoltaic panels were all used with the planet in mind.

Creative landscaping

A private, landscaped garden and courtyard offer residential green space that’s cleverly designed to hide the resident car park beneath.
