One of the UK’s most high-profile development sites, Newcastle’s Founders Place will be the new home of pioneers, with space to work, live and unwind.
This joint venture – Stephenson Works LLP – between Newcastle City Council and igloo with Thriving Investments (part of the Places for People group) will transform all six plots of council-owned land, with igloo contributing an equal share of capital investment to bring plots forward.
The 4.3 acres of land behind Central Station was once the home of brilliant locomotive innovation, therefore reigniting this industrious heritage is a pivotal part of the site’s regeneration.
