James Adams

With an enthusiastic approach to development and collaboration, James oversees and leads the construction of igloo projects.

James handles all procurement, design and construction functions on projects for igloo. During his time at igloo, he’s led the construction on award-winning igloo developments, including Ironworks Leeds, and Joseph Lancaster, a Community-led housing project.  

A respected Chartered Construction Manager, Project Manager and Sustainability Specialist, James has nearly 20 years’ management experience in UK construction, civil engineering, heritage, commercial and housebuilding. In past roles, James has delivered challenging and iconic projects in London and throughout the UK, including The Shard, BBC Broadcasting House, Park Crescent West and a Let Estate renovation programme for the National Trust.

James has a passionate approach to developing trusted relationships with project stakeholders and building collaborative project teams. He also has a strong focus on managing safety, programme, cost and sustainability goals whilst delivering value during pre-construction and de-risking the construction programme. He graduated from the UKGBC Future Leaders Programme and has a particular interest in promoting collaborative working.
